About Matrix

Matrix is a secure and distributed open source chat network that can provide us with communication functions similar to most social software. With complete message encryption, identity authentication and other security functions , Matrix also supports cross-server communication; At the same time, the Matrix community also provides multiple sets of clients, as well as plug-ins such as video chat, voice chat, SSO, system monitor, and user management. Matrix is a powerful open source social server, which is very suitable as a communication tool for the open source community.

The community matrix server is online

Thanks to Mr. Eric Migicovsky (the founder of Beeper.com) for his support and sponsorship, the Matrix server of the Wechaty community has been launched on August 12, 2021, mainly for community members and Wechaty users communicate online.

The server currently supports github account login (recommended), opens the invitation-free registration function, provides basic chat functions and voice and video conversation functions, and supports communication with other matrix server accounts.

The Matrix server address is matrix.wechaty.tk, it is recommended to access through the matrix client such as element, you can also log in directly through the web client.

Welcome everyone to pay attention to the matrix-appservice-wechaty project of our community, this project can help users accept the message from various social applications (such as WeChat, Wecom, Lark, etc.) supported by wechaty in a private matrix server， can currently be quickly deployed through the scripts on easy-matrix-wechaty project. We will take every issue raised on these projects seriously. You are also welcome to pay attention to the Beeper.com application, which supports receiving messages from common social applications on the market (such as Whatsapp, Facebook, etc.) in one application.

Matters needing attention

The home room of the wechaty community is #home:wechaty.tk, welcome the users from other matrix server to join it;
The server does not enable Google human verification, please do not use robots to frequently request;
The server is prohibited from being used for illegal purposes, and the community reserves the right to monitor unencrypted chat rooms;
The community will warn or ban users who violate the rules.

社区Matrix服务器的上线

感谢Eric Migicovsky(the founder of Beeper.com)的赞助，Wechaty社区的Matrix服务器已在2021年8月12号正式上线，主要供社区成员及wechaty使用者线上交流沟通使用。

该服务器目前支持github账号登录（推荐方式），开放免邀请的注册功能，提供基本聊天功能和语音、视频会话功能，支持与其他matrix服务器的账号进行交流。

该Matrix服务器地址为matrix.wechaty.tk，推荐通过matrix客户端如element访问,也可通过网页客户端直接登录。

欢迎大家关注社区的matrix-appservice-wechaty项目,该项目可帮助用户在私有matrix服务器中接受各种wechaty能支持的应用的消息（如：微信，企业微信，飞书等），目前可通过easy-matrix-wechaty项目中的脚本快速部署体验。我们会认真对待大家在这些项目中提出的每一个issue。也欢迎大家关注Beeper.com应用，支持在一个应用内接收市面上常见应用的消息（如：Whatsapp，Facebook等）。

注意事项

社区公共聊天室账号是#home:wechaty.tk，欢迎其他matrix服务器的用户加入我们；
为方便境内网络环境访问，该服务器未开启Google人类验证，请勿使用机器人频繁请求；
该服务器禁止用于非法用途，社区保留对未加密聊天室的监控权利；
社区会对违规用户进行警告或封号处理。
